Hi everyone and happy Monday! I have a quick little card today made with the new Memories Captured line from Fancy Pants Designs. The collection includes a sheet of cute chalkboard style journaling cards that are perfect for card making.
This close-up shows one of the chalkboard cards included on the collection. I emphasized the white circles by adding a circle clip and a houndstooth button. The green checkerboard strip behind the chalkboard card is a tape sticker on top of green striped patterned paper.
It's always nice to have a handmade thank you card on hand!
Have a great week!

Backseat Treat: Fancy Pants Designs
Hi everyone. We're in the midst of the dog days of summer here. It's been hot, hot, hot. And when it's hot, well, you gotta have ice cream!
The sherbert-y colors in this pretty striped paper by Fancy Pants Designs reminded me of ice cream and popsicles and made a nice backdrop for this layout about snagging a cone after swim lessons. I used the Memories Captured collection for this page. It's one of the mid-releases from Fancy Pants and has a fun mix of soft colors and chalkboard. I particularly like the mint, coral and blue hues in this collection. They pop so nicely against the black.
Are you using cork and chalkboard items in your projects these days? I am seeing them everywhere.
I appreciate your stopping by!

A Layout and Card: Fancy Pants Designs
I'm up on the Fancy Pants Designs blog today, spotlighting the adorable decorative bags that come in each collection. I used the bags on a card and layout. Come check it out if you can.
A peek at the card:
I used What A Wonderful Day for my projects. I adore this collection. It's a mid-release and just hit stores a few weeks ago.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love Ya Always: Fancy Pants Designs
Hi everyone. Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend.
I played a bit with What A Wonderful Day, a super cute mid-release from Fancy Pants Designs. I'll have more to show later this week, but wanted to peek in here today with this quick card.
The hot air balloon was part of a piece of patterned paper that I cut down to size. I pop-dotted the yellow frame on top and added a sentiment.
I'm really digging the cork trend. Fancy Pants has a new variety of cork hearts, stars, arrows and labels. They are great for adding dimension without much weight. Love them.
I'll be back this week with some more projects from this line. Thanks for stopping by!
